You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Darrow enters the dimly lit tent, his eyes adjusting to the flickering candlelight. The old hag's penetrating gaze meet his, and he nods respectfully as he take a seat on the offered cushion. Taking a deep breath, he began to share his tale.
"Greetings, wise one. I am Darrow Stonerugon, hailing from a distant land. I was born into a family of master builders, and from a young age, I discovered my gift for architecture. Under the guidance of the finest architects, I honed my skills, crafting structures that surpassed even my mentors' wildest dreams.
As my reputation grew, I was sought out by rulers and nobles from far-off realms. They commissioned me to design and build grand palaces, unassailable fortresses, and breathtaking temples. I infused my work with elements from the many cultures I encountered during my travels, creating a unique architectural style that became highly coveted.
But my world was shattered when a catastrophic earthquake struck my home, reducing many of my cherished creations to rubble and claiming the lives of my loved ones. Haunted by the loss and desperate to find a new purpose, I set out on a pilgrimage to share my knowledge and skills with the world.
As I journeyed across the lands, I offered my services to both the wealthy and the poor, driven by the belief that everyone deserves to experience the beauty and functionality of well-designed structures. My fame grew not only for my architectural prowess but also for my wisdom, humility, and compassion.
And now, I find myself in this new kingdom, ready to embark on my latest project.
