Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Hmm... expecting me? Oh how very intriguing." He says with an almost soothing voice. Maybe too soothing? "And what would you expect from someone like me, dear darling? For it seems rather you have something for me." He gazes into here eyes, almost as if reading her soul. He sense mystery, depth, purpose. He notices her surprisingly well kept hair. The relatively new dress. How her skin, other than the splotches of dirt, is very clean. He listens in, notices that the other people are talking nonsense. There are no real conversations. All the attention is secretly on him. He think to himself, "ah ha. These dim wits might not be as stupid as they look. How about we put on a show. Let us see how these fools react." He draws his sword, raises it high, and shouts at the top of his lungs. "YOUR SAVIOR HAS RETURNED!"
