    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the act of using information known OOC, and applying it IC for their characters own benefit, despite their character having zero knowledge of that said information. For example, Jane gets a dm that someone plans on assassinating their character, jane, now knowing this OOC, decides to apply this to her characters current knowledge, despite her character not knowing anything about her upcoming assassination.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the act of either forcing an action meant to have a negative impact on someone, or making their character have god-like powers. For example, John, attemping to rob someone, decides to immediately finish off their victim, not giving their victim any chance to even react to the attack, or have a say in his murder.

Saphielle would get startled from the gentleman. flinching in a moment of anxiety, later followed by rolling her eyes at the human, ignoring his welcome. “I’m only here to visit the library.” She’d say in a cold, dismissive tone.  She’d eventually shove him out of her way, wiping her hands against her dress, with a visible look of disgust on her face. walking further away from the human, and leaving the market, making sure to not cross eyes with anyone while making her way to the library.
