You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Adelin glances toward the seat, allowing silence to fill up the empty space of the tent while she tries to understand the meaning of the old hags words. She returns her gaze to the woman, who is patiently waiting for a response with an eerie smile. Adelin reluctantly sits down on the cushion, smoothing out her skirts as she does so "How could you have been expecting me? For I have never left the comfort of my home village until this day." Adelin says with a bewildered tone full of curiosity. The elder woman does not give an answer, instead her smile dims and she repeats herself "Tell me your story". Adeline shifts in her seat and tries to ignore the growing goose flesh on her arms "My story.." she starts, but falls flat of a response.
Adeline composes herself once more and gives the only answer she can come up with "I suppose, My story hasn't begun yet"
