Finn was born in northern Haense, to an unknown family. He spend most of his childhood at a local church, cleaning it for food. The priests taught him to read and write and as soon as he turned 10, they began making him go give food to the less fortunate citizens in the nearby villages and woods. When he turned 14, His birthday present was a horse, which, of whence he took ridding through the woods, when he got caught in a harsh thunderstorm. He decided to hide in a cave with his horse. Sadly for him, the cave was inhabited by a greymane bear which attacked him, but a lightning bolt made the light flash on a rock so it looked like a monster so the bear ran away, so he ran out of the cave, right into another kid known as Thom Hope, and he decided to follow him to his home town of Ayr, where he settled and began reading books about The Verge and Aegis, until the age of 19 where he decided to go out and adventure in the world of Arcas.
