Henri Renaudin was born in Autumn Meadows. Henri's parents were poor people who owned land in a village in Autumn Meadows. His village was once a cultural and historical capital for the rural communities living in Autumn Meadows and further west; over the decades, however, it lost all its importance, even becoming forgotten. This might be because of the regional myths that terrorized and forced most of the families to migrate. Henri's family was one of the last remaining in the area, affected by war, poverty, and largely regional threats. Although the majority of the population in their region were peasants, there was a small but significant presence of noble families. Henri was a bright and open-minded child. He was loved by locals. What set him apart from the others were his silvery eyes. In his village, silver is considered sacred. He was mature for his age, by looks and speaking. He was the one with deep ambitions, and could influence people when he spoke. He helped his father with the farm work. But he didn't want to stay there. If he stayed, he would decay. His greatest fear in life was hunger. Thus, Henri, at the age of twenty-one, made a decision to leave his family and his hometown behind and migrate to central regions of the world. Henri set out for Rittersberg, the capital of the Empire of Man, hoping both to prove himself and find a job, and to tell the story of his people to the people of imperium. During his travel, which lasted weeks and months, he met people from many cultures. He took on small contracts and jobs, living on daily payments. This would soon change. In the meantime, he had become skilled at horsemanship. He possessed an old, short sword and thankfully never needed to use it.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

"Oh, I just, uh…" The traveler stutters, tensing up. They eye the crone, then back outside the shack. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…
After noticing the old hag's gaze, Henri stretched his cheeks into a weak but welcoming smile. He takes off his hat and begins to speak with a nod of his head in greeting to her:
Greetings! I am Henri. I came from a place the gods had forgotten, from beyond Adunia. I know about husbandry and farming. Oh, also can swing a sword. Preferably a short one. Uh, as you know, I need to find a job I can do and earn money; once I have a roof above my head, I'll figure things out for myself. You can help me, right? I've come a long way, I don't want to be disappointed.
