    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming to me a player's use of real-life knowledge concerning the state of the game to determine their character's actions.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming would be an action that would make something unfair for the other party involved in rp. Example- Rumple draws his sword and in one fell swop slices his enemy's head off. that is powergaming. The right way would be Rumple draws his sword and attempts to cut off there head.

Rumple was born in The Kingdom of Norland to two loving parents and has lived there his entire life. Rumple went to school and had a pretty normal life until he witnessed his mother drown in a large lake in front of him. sense then his father tried his best to provide for his only son by sending him to school. as the years go on his father has accumulated debt sending his son to school/collage. Rumple has somewhat gotten better from seeing his mothers death and is willing to get on boats but that's as far as he willing to go. at the age of 24 he is setting out to explore the world and obtain wealth so he can help his father.

Roleplay Scenario:

As Rumple steps off the boat trying his best not to think about the water he notices a fairly well dressed man walk up to him. While being greeted Rumple starts to realize just how big of a city this is. " Hi , am Rumple and I came here to explore and to find wealth " As Rumple says this his face starts to fill with exactment realizing his dreams are coming to reality.
