Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Aye! Slaghand, at your service!" Slaghand bows, the rings of gem encrusted gold in his beard glisten against the candlelight,"... I have come to these lands after wandering, nearly destitute, from afar searching for a new mountain to call home. All of my kin from my previous mountain had disappeared and I began to grow mad in isolation in the halls. I am a craftsman, a merry-maker, and if need be a fierce fighter." Slaghand takes a seat across from the woman, considering lighting his pipe but errs on caution of making offense, he inquires,"Might I ask, lass, who you are? I don't believe we've made proper acquaintance."
