    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information obtained out of character to your advantage or just in general in character. For example, Johnny is working on his farm when his friend dms him on discord and tells him he is currently fighting a group of people in the next town over, Johnny then stops what he is doing and goes to aid his friend in the fight.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is roleplaying an action or attribute in an unfair or unrealistic manner, when it's used as an action it usually takes place as forced and used without giving other players a chance to react. Almost always resulting in the player powergaming winning every situation. For example, Johnny is in a fight with another player and rps **Knocks his foe out in one punch.**
