You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Beorg promptly took a seat. Anxiously Beorg stutter as he tries to get his first word out “I’m just a humble traveller looking for my next meal... and a warm bed” As the old hag gazes into his eyes, she senses there is more to his story and prompted Beorg to continue with a slight nod and smile.
“My village in the north was destroyed by raiders. I barely made it out alive! All my friends are gone, I just need a place to rest my head and plan what to even do with myself now… I’m all alone”
The old hag extended a cup filled with fine ale, allowing Beorg to feel some comfort. This grants him hope that he yet may have a new life. From this, he asks where the nearest bed is and promptly lays himself down. Readying himself for a new day, the dawn of a new life.
