    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: its when you know stuff in your own person or in the character you are playing. For example if I read every thing on dwarves lore and suddenly my character new everything about dwarves I would be metagaming.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: its when your overpowered when your not supposed to be, and is ultimately unbeatable.its like cheating , for example if I had an assassination mission, if the person im fighting on that mission cuts my head off in one stroke thats power gaming, it would be the same if i was to cut him up in 8 peices like i was cutting cake I would be power gaming too.

Aredhel Nightfall, was born a Dark elf in the outskirts of The Kingdom of Renelia, she lived with her mother, father and little brother.  Her mother had thought her  hand to hand combat and sword play while her brother learned the way of the sword and hand to hand combat from her father. Due to the culture of their kind they were required to praise and honor their ancestors every week.Their parents truly admired Velulaei the High Matriarch. Aredhel was truly a caring person; to her family and to many others, but due to an accident this changed. One day her village was raided, her whole family was brutally murdered, all except for her little brother. She and her brother ran into the forest to hide from these raiders barely making it. As she watched her village burn down to the ground she felt her heart close off. When she and her brother were in the forest they had to survive off the forest tragically, especially since she hated killing animals. As they wondered through the forest they stumbled upon a small village and they were nursed back to health. In their teenage years they struggled to find jobs.Now, as adults I and my brother travel the world fighting monsters for a living as adventures.

Aredhel sighs as if just talking to this man is a waste of time. 

"My brother and I are looking for the adventures guild." 

"Just point the way and we'll be on our way. "
