You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Theodore would take a seat in the tent and look at the hag. "Well, I came to this town in search of a bottle." Theodore would then look at one of the candles. "My father was a great explorer but died when I was young. My mother never talked about him, so from that day on I decided to explorer the world and learn as much as I can." Theodore would then walk over to the hag and sit next to her. "I left home when I was 20 and ended up in this place looking for work and an adventure. "Theodore would then stand up and walk to the other side of the room. Then he would turn to the hag and look at her face. "So, do you have an adventure for me, or can I just leave?"

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: You should think about what you are going to do before you do it. It has to be realistic and inside the perimeters of a human.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It takes out of character information into the roleplay. Let say someone is going to do a sneak attack on your castle and you see the chat in Minecraft chat so you prepare for the attack that can affect the RP.
