    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the use of information that a character should not have access to. Example:
    Player X sends a discord message to player Y to help defend the city that is under siege. Player Y is not on the server at this time
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is dabbling in unrealistic actions, especially killing emotes. Example: Player X attacked Player Y and said "Player X using his magic power killed Player Y"

He smiled to the nice dressed gentleman. "Hello there, I'm just trying to find a herb store" Namiell said. He took a hand and started to search something in his pocket. Then, he showed gentleman a picture of leafs and asked: "Have you seen those in any of the local shops? This thing is really important to me". His voice started to shake a little and he started to feel a little bit scared of reaction of the gentleman. It may be suspicious that young boy tries to buy some herbs, isn't it? Then stressed, but confident Namiell said:  "Um... I'm sorry, I will go sir..."

Ø Your biography lacked two sufficient lore references (Settlement names, creature names (creatures that are unique to LOTC not your generic dragon or trolls), other major events that are explained in depth), however races, and continents, nations names and vaguely conveyed facts are not sufficient lore reasons. Make sure these match up with your age and the current server year of 1813. Some places you can look for references are, you can also PM on disc and I can help find more than the listed here:

  • Renelia  (This is a dissolved Dark-Elven state, but is the latest one In existence, you will need to up your age to match this fact)

  • Aegrothond

  • Elven Sub-Forum (You can find events here that are part of LOTC and contains a alot of info when you click into the post)

  • Dominion of Malin (Do know the Dominion was dissolved over 90+ years ago).

  • Dark Elves
