    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming to me is the idea of bringing outside knowledge onto your character, when that character would otherwise not know of it. If I play a human farmer who has never been in contact with elven magic, it would not make sense to start talking about it as if I did, unless I had gone through a long arc of learning it. Any information I gather OOC would be considered metagaming if I brought it into IC out of nowhere.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Simply doing things that doesnt make sense power wise. I cannot be a god, I cannot roleplay some sick child and also fight like a warrior, I cannot know all types of magic right of the bat. There has to be a balance, and powergaming breaks that balance, it ruins the realism of it (Even though it is a fantasy game lmao)
