    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when someone uses information that they have learned out-of-character - through Discord, /msg in game, or otherwise - to influence their character's actions in game. For example; Person A is walking on the roads when they recieve a /msg from their friend, Person B, telling them to go home, as they have seen bandits heading in the same direction. Should Person A listen and run home, this is an example of metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone performs an action as their character which is out of their character's abilities, bounds, or rulings. This could be forcing actions on other players, attempting absurd feats of combat, or otherwise; An example being if Person A attempted to back flip and kick a bandit in the face without them being able to dodge - This would be impossible logically, and an example of powergaming.

Ese would watch the well-dressed gentleman, her expression skeptical and irate as she gave him a good look up and down. Her eyes tracing his form, she'd look for some kind of dagger behind his back, or maybe some sort of hidden wristpocket where he held an arrow - Something, because no man brings themselves to a random Highlander like that. "None your business, frien'. Have a good day, now." She'd dismissively bite back - A bit of bad flavor to her attitude, before lowering her gaze to the ground and trying to quickly make way around the man, intent on getting further into the market. She had business to do, after all.
