    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information from the outside world to aid you in a game. If you know something based on outsider information then join the game knowledgeable of said information and you use it to your benefit, that is metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is a way of strong holding other characters to fit your narrative. Giving your self random powers and strengths to make sure the story goes how you want.

Istra smile softly, "I'm looking for adventure! Maybe a few drinks in-between?" she looks at her surroundings before taking a small step towards a shop named "Crafts and Things", her ears perk up as she hears the shop owner mention a wooden piece he just finished. "Maybe even some wooden... things?" she turned back to the well-dressed man, curiosity spreading across her face. While looking at the man, Istra's eyes widened. "Why do you look so familiar?" she asked, confused. She stepped closer, inspecting his outfit, but still unsure of why he looked familiar.
