Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Treading in the mud of the tent you attempt to sit down without staining any of your clothes but you are hit with a stench of a carcass that is unrecognisable without any summary. The half lighten light barely shows the hags face in the midst of her collection of mysterious items.
"Expecting me?" he says with a tone of cockiness and proudness as he is surprised a town in the middle of no where recognises him. Looking around to see if it's a trap of some sort he keeps his fingers on his blade making sure he can protect himself from any looming attack.
After a long silence in the tent he exclaims, "Story huh?" he inhales and leans over to the hag before in a soothing tone says. "You all want a story, but never want to know what a man wants. I am human you know."
However his mood shifts when the hag smiles at him shows a timid look in her face like she is a wise mage. "I swore my life to the Grand Emperor, being his warrior. I was a man with honour." He inhales with a face that looks of a mix of both puzzled and proud, cannot be told how he feels at the moment. "However, that honour is nil now."
The man has a stern look on his face, leans back and exhales. "Say, if you expect me, I will tell you my story but you will tell me who you think I am."
The hag nods in a swift sense showing a sense of agreement within both of them. "I am a warrior with passion, the type to not be afraid of the enemies in front of me. I may just be an average man but I have a sense of compassion that makes me fearless compared to others. However, I've learnt my skills from the kitchen having great knowledge of blades."
