Dhorgoc was born in the Dwarven city of Urguan as a Mountain Dwarf. Dhorgoc was taught to hold the Brathmordakin close, but because he was a cocky Dwarf so he just ignored most of that religious stuff. Dhorgoc got in some trouble because of this though, and was told to leave Urguan by his father, Borgok Oregrip the II. Dhorgoc travelled the world drinking and worked in local mines but never got anything much for himself. Well even a travelling dwarf can make some good coin so it wasn't long before Dhorgoc made some minas. After earning about 100 minas and getting some real openmindedness by mining in Haense, Dhorgoc travelled back to Urguan. The arduous trip had aged Dhorgoc though, paling his beard and weakening his eyes. Despite being only 80 Dhorgoc's eyesight was starting to go. Dhorgoc knew he had to change ways so he really embraced the aged looks and now he is much more wise. Dhorgoc was educated in little so now he is seeking training in whatever he can find. This desire to learn whatever Dhorgoc can has brought him to the land of Almaris, seeking what wise Dwarves do - skills & opportunity! Learning some humility he will pray to the Brathmordakin of Knowlege, Ogradhad.
Read the scenario below this box and type out inside of this box how your character might respond. Your response must be at least four sentences long and include at least one action and at least one piece of dialogue surrounded by quotes.
You’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”
How do you respond?
Dhorgoc says "Come closer there I can barely see you, but I am here because I hardly saw a flyer to learn how to carve gems. Do you know of anyone who can teach me to carve gems?" Dhorgoc laughs and knows he will also get a drink here. "Also tell me where an openminded dwarf such as myself can learn a bit of your local culture, hmmmm maybe a brewery will do the trick?" Dhorgoc's charisma lets him navigate the situation with Dwarven guile. He rubs his sore eyes that struggle to see clearly and follows the directions of the well dressed gentlemen.
