How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: If you use knowledge in roleplay for your character wich you did not gain with this character but either got it from conversations chats or other characters. Put simply using knowledge that your character doesnt have or never will have in roleplay.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: If you "overpower" or boost your character to such an extend it doesnt make sense anymore. For example a baker who fights off one or even more trained fighters with just a loaf of bread.
