    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: The use of information acquired out-of-character, in-character is the definition of metagaming. An Example of this would be using friends, family, etc. to find out about resources, base locations, etc. with out doing any work.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the carrying out of unrealistic, unfair, or godly actions. Being, condescending to other players with out having done anything to have any reason to do so. For example, defeating an army of twenty by your self.

Gliff looks on at the man with sceptic gratitude. The man was the first person to welcome him in a long time. However Gliff noticed a long curved dagger protruding from the mans cloak. This of course was nothing to go from. Gliff himself had a short sword a bow and numerus daggers hidden in the folds of his cloak. Gliff respond with a drawn out "rest." The man responded with a knowing nod saying, "Ah well you have come to the right person, The House of Creolin is the perfect place to seek lodging." Gliff with a look a gratitude asked "Can you point me in the right direction." The man smiled in a way that Gliff had seen countless times. It was the look of an omnificent human preparing to ensnare him in some kind of trap, trick, or ambush. The man responded "It is down that fare street past the guard house on the left, tell the man at the door that Frans sent you and you will get a welcome like nothing you have ever experienced." Gliff thanked him. He then passed the man and began to cross the bazar with no intention of going where he was directed, until something flickered in the corner of his eye.
