    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge outside of your characters to knowledge in roleplay. Something as simple as another character's name you haven't met yet to knowing the exact layout of building you're character has never set foot in.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you make your character incredibly powerful or "perfect," Normally a gary stu or mary sue who refuses to lose any battles cause "it's not in the way of their character"

Anduin looked over the well-dressed man as he approached having noticed him, the sprawling bazaar was captivating, but the man had peaked his interest on approach. "I'm just a traveller passing on through. Is it normal for you to walk and ask people what they are in the city for, how about you mind your business and keep walking." With that Anduin would walk by the man and head into the bazaar keeping an eye to make sure he would not follow.
