You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Andria Scoffs at the ladies remark, ignoring her offer to sit, “well you have one thing right, this place is too trite to really be called just a town”. Andria takes a brief curious look around the dark tent before looking down at the lady’s face close “yeah no offense, but I’m quite sure i’ve never seen you a day in my life”. She waits for some kind of response from the lady across from her but is met with nothing, she sighs before looking away, “whatever, do you know a place where I can buy some food?”. Andria waits for a response looking down at the lady, her patience isn't long lived though, she turns away getting ready to leave the tent. A large grumble is heard from Andria's stomach before she can walk out, she groans dramatically before turning back into the tent and sitting down on the cushion. “Look if I tell you about ‘my story’ would you give up the weird act and help me?”, silence once again. She looks towards the floating candles sticking her hand out to poke one of them but immediately flinches back once her finger hits one “what are you anyway? I don't often see scams like this”, the lady ignores her once again and she decides to just go on “Names Andria, I’m a traveler, through the forest and whatnot I guess”, she looks towards the lady waiting for a direction, when she is met with nothing she sighs. “I was raised in a village for creatures like me by my father, until one day I decided to venture out into the big ole beautiful world. At least I had hoped for it to be beautiful. In a world like this if you get too hopeful about anything it'll be ripped away from you in seconds, so why be?”.
