    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing an action or doing something you would not be able to do. (say if I went *Torrack punches Tom in the face, Killing him* but you have the strength of a fly so it wouldn't be possible)

He was born in a poor village in the south of the wilderlands. His village got attacked and raided by soldiers, all of them died except from him. He was 10 at the time but very strong, especially for his age. He tried to fight these ‘lowly soldiers’ with just a rusty old sword, not doing too well but surviving... (barely). The two men were just toying with the boy with bare hands  two of them but having another one who referred to the other two as ‘amateurs’ slice his eyebrow and knock him on his feet. As he was about to deliver the finishing blow to Torrack, the person in charge stopped the soldier and caught the talent of the young boy, trying to define it and make his potential peak. Halfway through his training, he went on a raid and lost his team. They were all killed but he survived and escaped into a forest and collapsed into a waterfall. Injured, he was found by a near by child who was playing by the river. The Child went back to show his friends and his grandfather who knew about the horrors that the army was committing. Knowing this, instead of alerting the village, he sensed the good in him and decided to shed him of his armour and take him to his place to aid him. The old man knew about combat so when Torrack recovered he started teaching him how to use sword-play and put mana into his sword to enhance his abilities. During this time in the old man’s village, he bumped into an old lady who told him his prophecy and his curse; to never love without loss. He thought this was bs but after he fell in love, his lover died within 2 months of them being together. He went back to the old lady and she told him that he needed to repent to get rid of the curse, what that meant... only he knew. All the killing that The army did, all of that burden was on his shoulders. After about 2 years, he told the old man he was going away ‘to atone for his sins’ by defeating the army which leaves us at the point we’re at now. Having him wander the woods.

 

He wears a black vest with a brown fur coat and a claymore sword around his waist called ‘Entravous’ passed down throughout the old man’s descendants, but since his died he had no one to pass it to. Torrack wears black low crouch trousers and arm bracelets.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Hello! So for a few reasons I’ve placed you on pending, and I’ll list them below.

1. Your definition of powergaming, while correct for the most part, lacks the other half, so please refer to the wiki page

on both things, and add more information to it.

2. Your biography is good, though I wanted to point out it’s not acceptable within our server to be able to fight two men

at once, with barely anything at the age of 10, so I’d like you to change that. As well I’d like to see a mention of

an event, place of birth/residence, or any other relevant piece of lore included in your biography. 

3. Your skin, while interesting, does not fit our server lore and time period, so please search for a more fitting one.
