    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is refusing to roleplay fairly in a random scenario and forcing actions on a character besides your own without giving them any opportunity to counter said actions.

William, eager as can be, responded to the man saying - “I’m here looking to become a wealthy merchantman.” To this the man responded sarcastically “Well, good luck my friend-” but before he could say anything else, William had run off and hid near a small group of commoners until the man had left the area, suspicious of his intentions.
