Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Folks call me Trunk. I'm a soldier that has been freed from service, and seeks to become a wandering soldier for hire." He explained to the witch. He tapped his warhammer at his side, and smirked. "My story? My father was a fool and a drunk, his one good deed in all his life was birthing the likes of me. And my mother? Never knew her, she died in childbrith. I ran away from home at the age of 10, and have been on my own ever since." He looked around the dingy hut, and frowned. "Do you have anything to drink here? If I'm telling my story, I ought be here all night!" He laughed heartily.
