Daniel Woodlander is a wood elf from a long forgotten ancient seed called Toberin. His bright green ilmyumiers that represent this seed are visible on his right hand and his face. He’s the last remaining member of this seed, as everyone else died in a battle when defending their home from an incoming orc army. Here’s how Daniel remembers this moment: “Something appeared on the horizon. At this point noone was sure what was it, so we kept looking. As it got closer and closer we started to recognize the shape of orcs riding on horsebacks, carrying heavy double edged swords. We prepared. And by we i mean the others as i was still just a 4 years old kid. They shot a few of them with bows, threw rocks at them, but they kept coming. When they reached the village they broke the gate in the wall protecting us with just a few hits of a heavy mace. This is where the mayhem started. They killed everyone, but they left me alive, than they faded away in the fog. They didnt expect a kid to survive on his own. It was hard, but i somehow did it” Other than this, and his name, he doesnt remember anything from his childhood, not even his parents’ names. He was born somewhere near Sutica. He used to look into the city from walls, but never actually got the chance to enter. After the death of his seed members, he had nothing left. He had to get food for himself and make his own clothes. For this reason, he prefers wearing clothes he made himself, one exception to this are his nice, comfortable boots he once received from a wood elf kid he met in the forest, who game him his boots because he realized that Daniel needs needs it more than he will ever do. His left hand got infected when he was 12, when a strange animal bitten it. To stop this disease from spreading to other body parts, he has tight metal rings on his left hand, that dont allow blood to flow trough it, so the disease cant spread this way. Because he stopped it early he’s still pretty okay with it, and it is not yet in a state that could spread to descendats. Because he lived isolated for nearly his whole lifetime, very rarely meeting anyone, he would really want to make some friends, because he already got bored of being alone all the time. Because he was not able to learn much before his parents and everybody who he know passed out, he doesnt know much about wood elf culture, so he doesnt follow it. This includes not being religious. However he is really interested in learning more about theese, and also about the culture of other elf sub-races, tho for him this is just an interest and isnt really a part of his life. Also, he’s not quite sure where he is currently, but he wants to get back to his homeland as soon as possible. His goals in life are to learn magic and to open a small restaurant/food shack.
