Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

“Hola!” says Jesus, offering a wink. He takes a step toward the cushion as his boots squelch slightly. He pulls his tabard tighter, the weight of the journey heavy on his shoulders. “I am Jesus, though you may also call me Señor Guzman. My path is one of necessity—and it carries me through, not to, this dingy town.” He leans forward slightly. “I don’t know how you could have been expecting me, but I will answer your question regardless. I was a poor boy, destined to slave away as a miner. The bandits controlled the land outside my city gates, and made my family pay heavy taxes in addition to what we paid to the government. I did not want to live my life as someone who was afraid of their own shadow, and so my family sent me from our home to here, to become a protector for the weak. I come here and seek to offer myself to whomever has need of me in these lands. I wish to train under the greatest, and mold myself in their image.” He bows. “And what is your name, my dear?”
