Ezim’s family comes from a long line of failures and mediocre peasants barely able to support and feed their families. His parents were no stranger to this life. Travelling from town to town in search of what little work they would be able to temporarily find and what little food could be begged, found, or stolen to feed Ezim and his siblings. It was in this poverty that Ezim’s mother passed away due to disease which was brought about by exposure to the elements when he was 14 years old and his father, unable to support his children, abandoned them in the wilderness near a town. Hoping that they would find someone more suited to care for them. While heartbroken and scarred from his years on the road, Ezim was always taught by his parents to see the beauty in the world and those around him. Now he heads off, years later at the age of 22, in search of a brighter future for himself and those around him and to one day find his siblings who he was separated from due to the years on the road. He starts his journey travelling to the home of his ancestors in the region of Al-Faiz, the city his parents had always told him about in which Farfolk are prevalent and he would meet more Farfolk like him, which he hopes will reunite him with his siblings.
"Hello, I'm come looking for work and a warm hearth to rest beside after my long voyage. Do you happen to know where I could find either?"
