Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
The apostle sat down without hesitation, folding their hands in their lap, sitting up straight. There was no doubt in their expression, no fear. Just a quiet confidence.
"I come as a servant," he said, their voice calm but firm. "I am an apostle, sent here by the will of the One who guides me. I’ve come to bring His word to those who need it most. To help those who have lost their way."
They paused, meeting the old woman’s gaze. "I’ve been led to this town, to you. Have you felt it too? The call? The signs?"
Their voice softened, though the weight of their words was still heavy. "I want to bring light to this place. To show these people the way to redemption. Will you help me?"
