Elmar was born after the rise and fall of the holy Orenian empire. His father fought on the side of the Laureh'lin and suffered injuries as a result of the overthrow of the holy Orenian empire.
This has led Elmar to build himself a training regime to prepare for the (in his mind) inevitable war that is sure to come. as a result of this, Elmar is more muscled than most of his fellow elves. Despite disrespect over his choice not to follow in the footsteps of most wood elves, he has stood strong all his 100 years as a advocate of preparation for war.
As well as being strong, he is well versed in literature but perhaps not as much as his peers. He lives in the trees like most of his fellow wood elves but has been know to spend long periods of time on the ground, much to the worry of his friends. He is not in a relationship, believing that without a partner, he will not be leaving anything behind if he perishes.
