    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use knowledge you obtained out of character and then use that knowledge in character.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is essentially forcing roleplay onto other players. For example not roleplaying fairly, and forcing situations to benefit you only.

Born a Heartlander, Rith, who lived in Carolustadt during his early life with his mother and father. He was trained everyday in the art sword fighting by their father. His father was a veteran in many battles on Atlas for the Holy Orenian Empire, And intended on his kid to follow his footsteps. It was as if Rith was bred purely to be a powerhouse fighter. His entire life was lived following strict customs of the heartlander people, and of course following the Church of Canon. He strongly believed this was the life he was meant to live, as that was what he was taught since birth. He didn’t get much exposer to outside culture and secretly he lived for the moments as a kid and teenager, where he could go out into the city and talk with others, learning about the outside world. At the age of 18, his father and mother were killed when a home robbery escalated. Now left with no one, and no real sense of purpose. With much inner conflict and no one left to impress, he decided it was time to put down the sword, and to wander the world, and discover the secrets within it. Now on his journey to visit the deserts and learn about the Farfolk he so desperately wanted to learn more of from when he was a kid, he’s got to leave everything behind and has to rediscover himself and his purpose, as his story continues..

Physical Description: Rith is 6'3 with a lean athletic build. He's got tanned skin, blue eyes, dark brown hair, and a short beard.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
