You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I cautiously step further into the tattered tent, the flickering candles casting dancing shadows on the worn fabric. The pungent scent of rotted wood and wet moss fills the air, making me acutely aware of the stark contrast between this dingy town and the elegance of the elven realms I once called home.
"My journey has been one of unexpected twists and turns," I begin, choosing my words carefully. "I am Arivdilwe, a traveler driven by curiosity and a longing for understanding. I found myself drawn to this town by tales whispered among distant travelers—a town cloaked in mystery, where stories intertwine like the roots of ancient trees."
As I settle onto the cushion, I continue, "I come seeking answers, though I am yet a novice in the ways of the world. I have no wealth to boast of, nor do I possess the knowledge of magic that my kin in the elven realms have mastered."
"I seek guidance," I admit, meeting the hag's gaze with a blend of determination and uncertainty. "There's a sense of purpose that eludes me, a puzzle waiting to be unraveled. If there's wisdom you can offer or paths you can illuminate, I would be grateful for any guidance you might bestow upon this humble traveler."
