    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you give your character real-life knowledge about someone or something, when they have no relevant or previous awareness about said thing.
    Ex: the character knows another character's name, without talking to them.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is forcing an outcome on an action. (You decide what outcome)
    Ex: "John punched Larry in the face, causing him to go unconscious."

As the man approches Viola, she takes a step back. She then looks up at the man, and gives him an awkward smile. "Well, hello there." she pauses, "To be straight, I'm not sure how I ended up here. I'm sure it's not any of your buisness, but I guess I'll have to figure it out myself." She takes a step away from the man, and starts towards the market.
