Erik Haraldson hails from the northern lands of Almaris being born in Norland. He comes from a family of poor wealth having two younger brothers. As Erik grew up he quickly developed a lust for combat. He enjoyed sparring his younger brothers practising to become a skilled fighter like his father. During his teenage years he learned about the death of his father swearing to not let him down and carry on his legacy as a great warrior. Erik would spend his next few years hunting animals and exploring, returning to his house only to sleep. At the age of seventeen his mother was struck down by a sickness and died shortly after. Erik had been closer to his mother than anyone else being greatly impacted by this event. After the loss of both parents Erik and his brothers left their family's village settling in different parts of Almaris. Erik had chosen to join the city of Varhelm. Here we reach the present. Will Erik achieve his goals and carry on the legacy of his father? Only time will tell.
Erik looked around the city scanning his surroundings then turned back to the gentleman in front of him. "I'm here seeking to buy a sword. Rumors say you make the best swords in all of Almaris and I will soon find out if that is true or not." The gentleman smiled saying: "The rumors are true! The best of blacksmiths reside in our city. If you wish I can show you the way to a nearby workshop where I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for." Erik accepted as the gentleman proceeded to show him the way to the nearest blacksmith.
