    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It is when someone uses something like text or chat to learn info the character your playing as doesn't. So the player has false knowledge. Ex Jake says hi to Billy but find out he is planing to kill the king in chat. He kills Billy.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When someone decide the actions of another character when they are role playing or having unatural strength or powers. Ex Billy severes Sams arm.

He was born in the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. He was caught in the Great Northern War where his parents were killed and he had to live alone on the streets at the age of ten. He got caught in a fight in the town square of Markev when he was fifteen and he got cut on  the arm. He then started pickpocketing and begging on the streets. He then traveled far and wide across the lands looking for a job and exploring the world until finally he returned home and stayed in the kingdom in hopes of finding a job there when he was seventeen. He is now trying to become a guard for the king to protect the kingdom he grew up in and make sure no one ever innocent dies again and to protect his parents legacy and home. He hopes he can become a guard but doesn't know what he will do if he doesn't.

Character Age: 18
Physical Description: He is 6'1" and he weights 110 lbs. He has fair skin and he has blue eyes and brown hair. He has a scar on his right arm and he has a young look.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Well done applicant! I've had an absolutely amazing time reading your application and only few application manage to catch my interest by so much. Hopefully, you'll be able to encounter a lot of things that will further your character development. Anyway...
