Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
“You’ve been expecting me? How peculiar.” Cassaria says cautiously, hesitating to sit down. She looks around the tent for weapons or objects that indicate this woman is dangerous. After finding nothing, she sits down. “Well, uhh, I came from out West to start a new life. My parents always wanted me to conform to the typical gender roles of a woman, but I wanted more for myself.” Cassaria says with determination. She continues, “I love to help people, but I am not a doctor, I love to listen to people and their needs, yet I’ve been unable to give them anything. I got to thinking, what can I do? Instead of being a doctor, I can hire and organize them. I can provide for people by making healtcare more accessbile, and hopefully affordable. I want everyone to live a healthy life. While I do not have money to actually open my own clinic yet, i am going to work hard to make that dream come true.” She concludes with a proud smile on her face.
