You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Alddbb moves to the cushion that she gestured at, keeping his eyes focused on her hand, "My story? It isn't quite as interesting as the hero's who shape the world. I'm just a wanderer. Though I am here to learn more about this world." His eyes flash to the surroundings of candles, "You could say that I am someone who is looking for a reason to fight. Or a reason to put my life on the line." He chuckles slightly and puts his hand on his pommel, "I could very well be a sell-sword, or a person who is looking for vengeance. Though where would that get me? I see myself as more as a explorer. Be it bow or sword." He sighs afterwards and shakes his head, "Though if you would like to know the truth, I am disheveled. My home is no more. Those of the Black Scourge are fearsome. Their minions are many, and while I don't find it hard to fight them, it does send shivers down my spine, hearing those I called brothers fall that day in Abresi. I suppose that's why I'm wandering now." He shows a smile, but turns away, "Those who lost their lives shouldn't have. If only we knew more about what could happen. I don't want to lose any other brothers in arms. Not again."
