    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge you the person has full knowledge of yet your character lacks knowledge of, such as plot devices or macguffins that may be present in a storyline,
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the granting of unrealistic powers to yourself, on the level of a demigod or above. Often these powers were granted through a selfmade backstory versus trials and tribulations gained through roleplaying. Even still it is advised to remain as a “normal” figure for most of your time.

Gutlug, staff in hand, eyed the man with scepticism. His gaze obscured by the wolf’s scalp donned on his face, maintaining his composure Gutlug stood firm. “My business is my own stranger, only the Spirits know what is in store for me in this city. If you have something to say, say it and I shall listen. Else I must return to my mission.” Gutlug awaited for the man’s response, half expecting him to sell him some con or trick. Yet out of honour’s sake he felt it appropriate to give him the benefit of the doubt…For now.
