    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is having your character know things that it couldn't possibly know in-game (knowledge the player might have, that the character would have no way of getting), like if a player does research on a certain topic and their character suddenly gains that knowledge, which they wouldn't really be able to know, or if outside communication between players begins affecting things in-game.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is trying to things that are unfair or not realistic that would give the character an advantage or too much power that's out of character or reason, like forcing things/emotes on other players or doing things that the character's race couldn't possibly do.
