Despite being a Hansetian Canonist from birth, Hector had never truly believed in the preaching of the people at home. He had spent the formative years of his life absent meaning. So he served his Lord in battle through his retainer, Jean d’Montagne, though it was merely catharsis and a method of at least having an honourable death. Not only did Jean give Hector a life worthy of his God, but a divine purpose, his holy words speaking truly beyond all other preacher before him. And so, Hector fought with great renewed vigor since he first heard the soothing words Jean spoke. Since then, he served as a fearless protector of his Lord and his Priest.
