You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Artemis glanced down at the chair, and then to the hag, brows furrowing with suspicion. "I'll stand." She replied curtly, though not unkindly. After a moment of pensive silence she opened her mouth to reply to the woman's prompt; but closed it just as quickly. Finally, she mustered the will to force her voice past her lips, carding her hands through her unruly bangs to push it hem out of her eyes. "I'd rather not disclose that, - " she let out a sheepish laugh. "but.. it may be good to speak on. You see, I was an apprentice to a Bard in Nor'asath - my hometown - before they ended up booting me to the curb. An exile basically.." Artemis sighed, shaking her head with a small mutter under her breath "Because of that, I've decided to explore new experiences on Aevos; travelling wherever I can and meeting whoever I can." A small glance upwards was spared to the hag "Is that enough for you?"
