    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is whenever someone uses their out of character knowledge to give themselves an advantage that their character wouldn't have in roleplay, such as finding out who murdered a victim by hearing it in ooc chat.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: power gaming is whenever somebody uses roleplay to give their character an unfair advantage, such as dodging every attack and landing every blow.
