    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using information you know, but your character doesn't to give you an advantage.
    If you're on an adventure, looking for buried treasure or something, and there's a well crafted story with clues you have to follow, and your friends tells you where it it, you still have to find it the intended way
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: creating unfair circumstances to greatly benefit yourself.
    If you decide that your character has godlike powers as part of the backstory, that's powergaming.
