    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Characters using/acting on information they wouldn't know themselves. A person using their own knowledge to give their Persona unearned information.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Forcing actions onto others. Being "that guy". Performing actions even fantasy writers would be hard pressed to believe possible.

Zu's mouth is salivating at the exotic smells invading his nostrils. The sight before him, Paradise....at least the start of it. He MUST have it. His neck is snapping to every stall he can see, eyeing their wares and taking inventory of what he will get from them. Following a merchant dragging what looks like legs of meat across the path, he finally realizes the well dressed man is in front of him and barely is able to remember his greeting.

 

*Zu makes no effort to hide his gaze looking over the fine clothes the man is wearing.* Zu's returns the smile*

" I am here for all this!" Zu exclaimed gesturing all around him.

" It seems that this city has everything one would need to be in paradise..." he says " Well, almost everything" He almost whispers.

*Zu trys to close the distance between the man and himself*

"Brother! Acquaint me with this city!"
