    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the act of taking knowledge that you may personally have, and using it to your advantage while roleplaying. If your character has no way of knowing something organically, then to use that knowledge would be metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is basically overpowering your character through forced endings, and controlling the narratives. To dominate where things go and what happens, while not giving the other player a chance to flow with you, you're powergaming.
