You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Akito hesitates for a moment, "Story? Nobody's ever asked me that before". Akito sighs, he thinks of his past, 'do I tell him'. "Very Well, if you wish to know then I shall speak." The woman looks at Akito with eager anticipation. "18 years ago I was born in the city of Vortice, both my parents were wealthy merchants, they took good care of me, until that one fateful day. When I was 4 my parents began to argue constantly, they never seemed to get along. I would ask 'mommy, daddy, please stop fighting' but they would just ignore me. After 2 months I awoke from a nightmare, scared I ran to my parents room, but when I got there I saw the thing that would shape my life forever. My father stood over my mother, hands covered in blood, he weld a short 4 inch dagger that was now soaked in blood. He had stabbed my mother 17 times, killing her. I ran to my mothers body, crying, I asked 'father, why' but he only laughed, he told me 'remember this moment, when you are in doubt think about your hatred of me, channel that, and use it'." Akito stopped, tears building up in his eyes, he looks around the tent, and finally calms down. "Sorry about that, let us continue. After this I became an orphan, I had nobody, no one to care for me, no one to love me, no one at all. I was forced to live on the streets, I became a petty thief, stealing to survive. Many walked past me, but few acknowledged me. Until I was 10 years of age I was forced to live alone, but this all changed when I stole from the wrong person. It was an older elf, I had seen his pouch filled with gold and I knew this was my chance. I approached him to take the gold, but before I had time to react he grabbed my hand. After this he took me under his wing, he trained me, until I was 16. After that I left him and became a wanderer, I have no place to go, I just wander around, searching for my father so I can take revenge." Akito looks at the old woman, "Is that what you wanted to hear, if so I will be on my way". The Woman nods her head, "I wish you luck young man, the world is a dangerous place, dont ever let your guard down". Akito smiles, and waves, "Thanks for giving me a place to rant, until we meet again". And with that Akito left the town, searching for his father.
