How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta gaming is when someone in roleplay decides to use information or other knowledge they got outside of the roleplay. For example some character saying they know of a meeting that their character does not and using that to their advantage.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is usually when a player forces something upon someone else (like emoting without giving the other party a chance to counter) or giving themselves an unfair advantage/say they do something that they cannot.
