    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player uses knowledge gained from outside the context of the game to gain the system. They act with knowalge that in universe their character would have no way of knowing at the time.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is when a player takes control of the narrative fully without regard to other players or characters. The player selfishly decides the outcome of a collaborative effort without input from others. Powergaming is also acting out of characters for your own benefit.

There's a small pause as he looks around, unsure if they're talking to him. Then he quickly bounded forwards to great the well dressed Gentleman. "Hello!" Condorian chirped, surprised and delighted to have received a warm welcome. "I come in search from The Silver State for a maiden my Noble wishes to wed. By chance can you point me in the direction of the local inn? And perhaps the hot springs. I've been on the road for quite some time." His eyes sparkled a bit at getting attention from someone so well dressed. Of course, they would have sparkled regardless of the person, but still. "By chance have any maidens passed through?... Preferably a High elf." He added after a pause, remembering that the gentleman would need a description and not realizing that 'high elf' wasn't much of one.
