Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: Iridiana crinkles her nose in disgust of the environment around her, her lilac dress muddy at the edges. She seemed incredibly uncomfortable at the entirety of the situation. She sat down on the dirty cushion she was gestured to. "Yes.. I am Iridiana." She said, hesitantly. "I come from a faraway land, but I doubt you'd heard of it.." she paused, brushing her fingers through her hair delicately. "I am of High Elf blood, my family is a ways away, however. I do not wish to go back." Iridiana looked away from the old hag in front of her, sighing to herself. "What a fall from grace I have been dealt.. but I want to climb back up. Sooner rather than later, hopefully." She gave the hag a pensive look, perhaps to garner sympathy, perhaps to show how she really felt about her situation.
