Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
 

"Me? Are you talking to me?". The old lady without flinching said, "Well, yes. I asking you son.". Ewan stares at the lady for a brief moment and a cough from the lady brought him back to his sense. Ewan cleared his throat and thought his past isn't much of a national secret that should be hidden, so it doesn't matter even if he tells her and the old lady's stare is like she can gaze through her past, present and future. As I started telling her my story, memories of my childhood and my past visualise before my eyes, "I was born in humble merchant family, not rich but stable. Well that didn't stayed to much longer, the town was pillaged in a war and I barely escaped with the help of my parents but they couldn't make it out alive. Since then, I have been wandering around doing whatever job I can get. I am currently accompanying a merchant caravan" Ewan sighs and after a short while and gazing at the candle's fire commented," Maybe I am looking for a place to call home again.". Ewan then asked the old lady, "You said you were expecting me. I wander do you perhaps know me." The old lady didn't say anything just smiled at Ewan. At that moment one of his companion called him. He responded to his companion and turned to the place where the old lady was sitting and saw the old lady was gone. He thought to the old lady for sometime and after sometime dismissed it. He continued with his companion and if fate allows they shall meet again.
